Share on:
On Monday 17th November the BVRLA hosted their first Industry Champions Reception at the iconic Speakers House - having recently joined the programme NEV Leasing Founder - Chris Harbutt was in attendance along with fellow Jurni Partners
A relatively new programme seeing new impetus this year and encouraging organisations to actively influence and support positive change across the vehicle rental and leasing sector.
The venue - Speaker's House was designed by Charles Barry and Augustus Pugin and completed in the mid-1800's within the heart of the Palace and to this day remains the official residence of the Speaker of the House of Commons. The historic State Rooms are adorned with large paintings of previous speakers and include a bed chamber which was traditionally used by the monarch the night before their coronation.
The rooms are generally used for parliamentary receptions and national events and a perfect choice befitting the nature of the event celebrating industry collaboration and responsibility.
Being involded in the programme is part of NEV Leasing's commitment to effecting change in the industry, raising standards and helping individuals and businesses navigate to cleaner and smarter mobility solutions.
The evening brought representatives from acroos the rental and leasing industry to share their perspectives, challenges and future outlook - joining forces to strengthen relationship to enable the industry to continue to deliver meaningful value for fleets, employers and drivers.
As a growing indepedent contract hire and fleet solutions broker serving Essex, Suffolk and the wider East of England, we're proud to be part of and contribute to that conversation - NEV was launched becuase we felt there was a better way and this initiative is just one part of delivering improvement in the sector.
We're looking forward to playing an active role in the programme and especially to ensure the voices, challenges and ambitions of SME's in Essex and Suffolk remain part of the national dialogue and consideration.
More updates will follow as the programme develops but if you'd like to know more please feel free to call us on 01206 585837 or click here to submit your questions and we'll back to you as soon as possible.
